MITEY launches apprentices pilot in Greater Manchester

We are delighted to confirm that we will be working with Kids Planet Day Nurseries – the UK’s third largest private nursery provider – to recruit and support 12 male apprentices through Level 2 training, as part of a £328k pilot aimed at removing barriers to apprenticeships in England’s North West.

Under the partnership, funded by Greater Manchester Combined Authority as one of seven projects chosen through a competitive tendering process this summer, the MITEY team will audit Kids Planet’s organisational processes and approaches to gender; provide training and support to key staff from across the business (including the ‘top team’); and help the six ‘host’ settings, do the best possible job of supporting their pairs of male apprentices.
